Come Volunteer with me on MLK Day in Austin, Texas - Jan. 17

I will be volunteering at one of my favorite charities in Austin on MLK Day which is Monday, January 17th.  If you aren't familiar with them, it is a place to go to find recycled art supplies.  You know that it is my thing! Here's the information I copied from their newsletter.............

Observed each year on the third Monday in January, MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.

Making time to volunteer for MLK Day of Service is a great way to engage with your community. Here at ACR, we will have a variety of activities set up for folks to complete throughout the day. Sorting, packing, rolling, tagging, we will be bringing the value back to hundreds of pounds of gently used materials and preparing them for sale in our retail center.

Come join us for an hour or 3! Bring a friend, bring your family or come alone and meet new folks!

Note, this activity will take place outside. Masks still required, please dress accordingly for the weather.
